Blizzard has always been known to release what they consider finished games and fix unforseen problems as they arise. The only reason WoW gets that treatment is because you pay a sub fee every month. Again, aside from WoW, they've never been the kind of company to release a lacking core game and then add content in patches as time goes by. You really shouldn't expect much else since this has been the status quo ever since blizzard became a blockbuster name. Guess what diablo 3 has 16 seasons of? The exact same. Aside from actual expansion set releases the rest were ALL balances tweaks, QoL changes, hotfixes, ect. I can't speak to overwatch because I haven't played it but the only game you've mentioned here that got periodically new content consistantly is WoW. My complaint is that I'm burned out after 1,500 hours (many of which I played even though I was bored, just really wanted to like it more) instead of 6,000 hours or 15,000 hours (like WoW or Diablo 2). Over a given period of time the vast majority of people will get burned out on things they are passionate about. That you're burned out on D3 seems more likely to be a reflection of you than of the game. Of course I don't expect a change to ping pong. It is a common feature of games like Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Starcraft, Warcraft 2, Warcraft 3, Overwatch to get tons of content added and balance changes made YEARS after release. Video games (specifically ones made by blizzard) are traditionally supported with ongoing content releases. I have 1,500 hours of diablo 3 within like 3 years. In my entire life I probably have 50 hours /played of pool. I play pool recreationally when I go out to bars, darts too. I wonder what kind of friend you'd be like "Wanna' go shoot pool? Nah, I've played pool at least ten times and it's always the same game."Ĭompletely inaccurate and very presumptive. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
